Cherry Blossom quartz x calcite

This new Discovery from inner Mongolia is known as “cherry blossom quartz” and features beautiful calcite flakes and flowers, colored by hematite inclusions.

We have seen quite a bit of Quartz over time, but the color, sugar shine, composition and aesthetics in this specimen is remarkably moving, and not easy to come by.
